Why Does Every Store Keep Rearranging Everything?

You spend years learning where everything is.

Coffee, aisle six. Paper towels, aisle twelve. Peanut butter right where peanut butter belongs.

Then one day, the whole store changes.

Now the coffee is next to the cereal, the paper towels are where the dog food used to be, and the peanut butter has disappeared entirely.

I know what they are doing. They want you wandering around long enough to buy three things you never came in for.

But I am not there to explore.

I came in for toothpaste.

Brother… put things back where they were.
